With a focus on student success, economic mobility and community engagement, FIU is redefining what it means to be a public research university. ## Job Summary   The Athletics Department is currently seeking a Temporary Facilities and Game Operations Assistant to join their team of professionals.  Duties include: - Assist with gameday operations. Setup and breakdown of events.  - Assist with visiting team logistics.  - Assist with pre/post-game meals.  - Assist in setting up fields and game areas for gameday.  - Assist with in-game logistics.  - Assist the Director of Facilities with everyday needs to run the athletic facilities.  - Reviewing daily checklists to ensure everything is operating well in the facility.  - Operating the university golf carts on campus.  - Adhere to all State of Florida, FIU, NCAA, Conference USA, and department rules and policies.  - Serve as point of contact for all internal and external athletics partners at FIU Athletics events.  - Perform related duties as assigned.         ## Job Category   Temporary ## Desired Qualifications   - Knowledge of Sports. ## Minimum Qualifications   High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. ## Work Schedule   - Hours may vary. - Ability to work flexible hours. - Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays. ## Advertised Salary   - $14.00 per hour. ## Pre-Employment Requirements   Criminal Background Check Fingerprinting Check ## Temporary Disclosure   As a temporary employee, you will not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement).
