Description of Work:

• Actively participate as a member of the University of Miami Sports Nutrition staff
• Manage and supervise all aspects of operations of the Nutrition Center and assigned fueling stations, including managing student-volunteers/interns/work study inventory, which includes the distribution, ordering, and receiving of product(s)ordering, receiving, and distribution
• Create educational handouts, assist with educational posts for social media, cooking demonstrations, and grocery store tour(s)
• Maintain effective communication with coaching staff(s), athletic trainers, strength and conditioning staff(s) and other stakeholders from the Athletic Department on nutrition-related matters.
• Serve our student-athletes with a positive, welcoming, and committed attitude.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the sports dietitian(s)

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical nutrition, dietetics, food and nutrition or a related area
• Availability for a non-standard workweek which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete work tasks with minimal direction
• Knowledge of sports nutrition and food service management
• Ability to be punctual, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Canva 

• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, to convey clear, well- articulated, information.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Apply judgment in problem solving of both a routine and complex nature.
