Compensation and Benefits

Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on the strength of qualifications. This is a CSU Management Personnel Plan (MPP) position.

• Ability to maintain discipline and develop a positive relationship with team members while motivating them to excellence.
• Thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and have a history of successful compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and protect the fiscal integrity of the athletics program and the University.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with student-athletes, administrators, support staff and community groups.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds and project a professional approach and attitude.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year institution.
• Eight (8) years of experience coaching collegiate football or equivalent NFL coaching experience.
• Dealing with high visible media presence in an effective and professional manner.
• Supervising, developing, and evaluating football staff and student-athletes.
