**GRADUATE ASSISTANTS – ATHLETIC TRAINING**

Athletic Training  positions will allow the Graduate Assistants to provide individual sport coverage throughout a multisport experience, as well as assist the Staff Athletic Trainers in providing medical coverage for 20 intercollegiate varsity sports.

**Duties include but are not limited to:**

Care and prevention of athletic injuries, travel with assigned teams, medical documentation, doctor coordination, and help with the daily operation and maintenance of the athletic training facility, and other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.   

The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and resilience to a fluid work schedule.    

These positions are intended to be a two-year multi-sport experience (renewal upon evaluation after the first year). Compensation includes full tuition waiver and monthly stipend.

Possible degree options include MBA, MBA emphasis in Sports Management, Master of Management or Master of Accountancy.

**Required qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field
- NATA BOC certified or eligible
- First Aid/CPR/AED certified
- Admission to Shorter University Graduate School.
