Position Overview

Butler University Athletics is looking to hire a General Manager/Director of Player Development for Men's Basketball.

Responsibilities

• Recruits top talent, creates plans and programs for individual and team skill development, and ensures our student-athletes perform at their best both on the court and academically
• Evaluation and recruitment of academically qualified and highly skilled student-athletes.
• Provides administrative, instructional and coaching assistance to the Head Coach.
• Lead NIL opportunities/engagement and roster management
• Foster meaningful relationships and building trust with student-athletes, coordinating and implementing programs and initiatives
• Other duties as assigned by head coach.

Required Qualifications

• Earned four-year baccalaureate degree required
• Outstanding verbal communication and leadership skill
• Able to work effectively with student-athletes, coaches, administrators and staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Collegiate coaching experience
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required.
