About the Department

program within the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Essential Job Duties

This position will assist the General manager with planning and implementing the vision of the player acquisition process as well as managing the daily operation of the recruiting department (player acquisition).

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

Advance the development of strategies, organization and execution of the recruitment process for all prospects through all method of connection including communication and relationship development

Creates, executes and tracks the overall weekly communications plan for the coaching staff

Call lists, written notes, zooms, creative content, Whistle

Act as the lead liaison between coaching staff and recruits + influencers/champions

Identify and develop key connections with top targets + influencers/champions

Develop creative strategies to successfully recruit top targets + influencers/champions

ARMS

Database upkeep

Coordinate accurate & updated recruiting profiles on top targets

Develop a list of influencers/champions on recruit profiles

Coordinate the logging of any and all relevant data points pertaining to player acquisition

Assist in setting recruit lists for recruiting events, gamedays, etc.

Assist in setting top recruit lists & provide feedback on viability of targets

Coordinate and organize the tracking and logging of all relevant recruiting communications

Assist in the development of the general recruiting calendar

Assist in the strategies and pre-visit planning for all recruiting events, unofficial and official visits

Assist with execution of all recruiting events (official/unofficial visits, junior days, camps, etc)

Collaborate with creative team on relevant and trendy recruiting ideas

Manage the Assistant Director of Recruiting position

Any other duties assigned by the General Manager

Follow all compliance related rules of NC State University,

&

ACC

Other Responsibilities

Other duties as assigned by Heach Coach and Administrators.

Qualifications

| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Require post-baccalaureate credentials or a bachelor’s degree plus alternative or equivalent professional training and experience may be substituted for the advanced degree on an exceptional basis. | | Other Required Qualifications |
- 1 year of prior experience working in collegiate football recruiting office. - 5 years prior coaching/working experience in football program. - Data entry and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint (or similar software). - Experience working with databases. - Experience with mass mailings and correspondence. - Experience running business or athletic program social media account(s). - Strong written/verbal communication skills. | | Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other related graphic design programs. - Post-Secondary education and one year of related office experience or equivalent preferred. - Event planning experience preferred. - Excellent interpersonal skills, experience with hosting and entertaining people.
