Assistant Sports Performance Coach
The University of Evansville invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Sports Performance Coach. This individual will play a key role in the development, implementation, and supervision of strength and conditioning programs for designated NCAA Division I teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and oversee all aspects of physical preparation for assigned varsity teams
- Assist in the delivery of comprehensive training programs for additional sport teams as directed
- Support injury prevention and performance enhancement strategies in collaboration with sports medicine staff
- Ensure a safe, organized, and high-performance environment in the university weight room
- Assist in daily operations, upkeep, and maintenance of all strength and conditioning equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field required
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) or SCCC certification (preferred or actively pursuing)
- One or more years of experience in a collegiate strength and conditioning environment strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional travel
