Roles
Assistant Athletic Director--Promotions
Responsibilities
- Build and execute all game day promotions with the assistance of the Athletic Marketing team
- Supervise student support staff and Promotions interns at events and in the athletic office
- Organize and schedule all showings for school mascot “Woody”
- Enhance game day experiences at all athletic events through promotions, entertainment, etc. through the use of interns and SAAC
- Bring focus of the student athlete experience to the leadership discussions
- Link collaboration between coaches, administrative teams, student affairs, residence life and the campus community to foster a positive overall student athlete experience at NU
- Build, promote, and lead the SAAC organization on campus while engaging with G-MAC office
- Organize and operate the parking for all home football contests
- Supervise sport programs and events as assigned by the Athletic Director
- Supervise and implement programming from Bridge (formerly Gameplan) for all 20 varsity sports
- Work with coaches and help administrate processes for summer camps

- Serve as game day administrator at events as assigned
- Assist with other department duties as needed and assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
- Computer knowledge/skills and particular knowledge and/or experience with Microsoft Office Professional including Word, Excel, Access, and desktop publishing
- Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills
- Collegiate athletic department experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and project a positive image
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
