Duties/Expectations :

• Provides administrative assistance to the Head Coach and assistant coaches
• Ensures consistent, accurate correspondence among staff and players
• Schedules facilities for practices and games for both BYU and visiting teams
• Organizes various team banquets for players and their families
• Coordinates all aspects of team travel including scheduling, itineraries, pre-departurechecklists, and staff/player personal identification
• Provides recruiting support including coordinating mailings, organizing officialrecruit visits, and educating prospective players/families about BYU and theHonor Code
• Works closely with the Student-AthleteAcademic Center and the athletes¿Academic Advisors to help players excel academically, athletically, and socially
• Serves as the basketball liaison with Sports Information and Marketing to ensurethe needs of the basketball program are being met
• Organizes golf tournaments, summer camps, service projects, and any other public appearances on behalf of the coaches and team
• Supervises office staff

What Qualifies You to Apply?

Required :

• Bachelor's degree (Must have required degree by start date)
• Experience with Division I collegiate or professional athletic playing/work experience
• Willingness to uphold and live by the university's Honor Code
• All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend, which may be verified during the application process.

Preferred :

• Five years of Division 1 or professional basketball playing or job experience
• Supervisory experience
