The Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) offers paid internships to support dynamic roles in development operations, marketing, social media, and communications. These part-time positions provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced intercollegiate athletics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns to promote TAF initiatives, events, and fundraising efforts across platforms like Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn
• Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to enhance TAF’s brand visibility and fan engagement
• Support the Communications team in drafting newsletters, and email campaigns to connect with TAF constituents
• Collaborate with the Annual Giving and Ticketing teams to promote membership drives and ticket sales through targeted marketing strategies
• Monitor social media analytics and provide insights to optimize content performance and audience engagement
• Assist with event promotion and on-site support during game days and special events, including capturing real-time content
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance TAF’s marketing and communication efforts

Position Details

• Paid internship with a flexible schedule, up to 20 hours per week
• Opportunities to work nights and weekends, particularly during athletic events
• Gain cross-departmental experience by supporting Annual Giving, Ticketing, and other TAF initiatives

Preferred Skillset

• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience crafting professional emails and engaging social media content
• Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or native platform insights)
• Creative mindset with experience in content creation (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing tools)
• Customer service experience and ability to engage with TAF constituents via phone, email, and in-person
• Team-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Google Analytics) is a plus
• Passion for marketing, communications, or athletics is highly desirable
