Description
Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Finance and Administration, the Senior Assistant To provides secretarial support to the Senior Associate Director and other department leadership.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintains appointment and meeting schedules and records of department activities for the athletic directors responsible for business operations.
- Prepares, distributes, and files documents for the athletic team and administration.
- Reconciles travel, hotel, and credit card expenses.
- Processes check requests and travel reimbursements.
- Assists with the correspondence, filing and maintenance of hotel, contest, and contest officials’ contracts.
- Maintains office supplies and places orders as needed.
- May perform other assigned duties not specifically identified above but which require the same degree of skills normally included within the above job title.
Hours: Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, work independently and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Additional hours may be required on occasional evenings and weekends and for events hosted by the Athletics department.

_Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
