About the Department

Essential Job Duties

This Assistant Director of Men’s Basketball Analytics coordinates, manages and assists with a wide variety of program management functions necessary for the successful day-to-day operations of our Men’s Basketball program.

Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with coordinating / organizing practices including ensuring compliance to NCAA rules & regulations, and game day administration.Assist the Director of Operations as the administrative manager to Coaches and other Administrative Personnel.
• Provide in-game tracking of internal metrics.
• Provide timely reporting and assistance to the Head Coach Sport Administrator and other Administrators in Athletics as requested and necessary related to the administration of the Men’s Basketball program.
• Prepare game day sheets and scouting reports.
• Stay up to date on all NCAA, ACC and University policies and regulations that pertain to practice, competition, recruiting, admission and NC State Basketball.

Qualifications

| Minimum Experience/Education |
Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
 
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. | | Other Required Qualifications |
- Prior experience working with Division 1 Men’s Basketball program. - Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) are required. - Must have ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good organizational skills are a necessity. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good telephone etiquette, as well as good interpersonal skills are needed in dealing with people. - Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite and have some database management experience.
