Trinity College in Hartford CT, an NCAA Division III, liberal arts and science college in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), is seeking to fill a full-time, faculty head coach position for our Field Hockey program. Trinity is a highly selective, independent, nonsectarian liberal arts institution located in the capital city of Hartford, Connecticut. Responsibilities
In addition to all coaching, recruiting, budgeting, and team management responsibilities, the head coach will also assist with the implementation of Trinity’s Wellness Curriculum, perform a secondary duty as assigned, assist with event management, and be expected to serve on department and/or college committees. This position also requires both night and weekend availability throughout the academic year.
Bachelor’s degree is required with a master’s degree preferred. Also, three to five years of coaching experience is needed, preferably at the intercollegiate level, and the candidate must be knowledgeable of the NESCAC and NCAA Division III philosophies.
