Roles
The Graduate Assistant, for Athletic Communications will serve as a contact for several sports and as a secondary contact for selected others. This position will assistant the Sports Information Director with all of the emerging sports division and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for the promotion of all the emerging sports division of the athletic department
- Work with selected NCAA sports in the athletic department
- Maintain and update the athletic department website
- Develop and publish post-event recaps
- Produce content for social media platforms
- Assist with production of feature stories, video features, live streaming, photography and live statistics

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Computer knowledge/skills and particular knowledge and/or experience with Word, Excel, web site maintenance, the Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and project a positive image
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
