Gardner-Webb University, a NCAA Division I institution and Big South Conference member, invites applications for the position of Director of Operations and Assistant Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position that serves as an extension of the head coach and liaison to the operations of the women’s basketball program.

Responsibilities include:

• Organize all team travel for road trips
• Organize all meals for home and away games
• Oversee the operating budget
• Organize team events and community service
• Marketing liaison
• Assist with practice setup
• Oversee manager and practice player hiring
• In charge of gear distribution
• Oversee Alumni relations
• Handle all player communication through the Groupme app
• Log Cara hours
• Academic liaison for 3 players
• Opponent game scouting

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Two years of coaching experience.
