JOB PURPOSE:
This position will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Howard University women’s lacrosse program, a Division I program competing in the Northeast Conference (NEC).
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Practice planning and practice activities
- Recruiting, official and unofficial visits
- Game preparation and scouting, video breakdowns
- Team travel
- Academic monitoring
- Compliance with NCAA, NEC and University rules and regulations
- Fundraising and community service
SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY:
Reports to the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience coaching or playing collegiate lacrosse
- Strong interpersonal skills
