St. Lawrence University is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Coach for the Men’s Division I Ice Hockey program. This is a full-time, 12-month appointment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The assistant coach will be responsible for helping the head coach plan, organize and administer all aspects of a highly competitive Division I men’s ice hockey program. These responsibilities include on ice instruction of skills development, special team and systems of play. The assistant coach will also be directly involved with the recruitment of elite hockey student-athletes, nationally and internationally. Must possess a strong commitment to the academic mission of the University and will be responsible for monitoring the academic success of the student-athletes.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred).
- Two years of coaching, administration or scouting at the collegiate, junior, professional, international level or transferable experience in college hockey operations.
- College playing experience and/or goaltender coaching experience is preferred. An understanding of Division I NCAA rules and regulations are essential.
