Essential Functions

• Build, develop and implement marketing plans for designated Baylor athletic programs.
• Work in a team environment to enhance promotions and coordinate giveaways.
• Manage various game functions for assigned sports to include game producer, writing public address scripts, coordinate halftime/in-game performances, develop interactive crowd promotions/creative videos, and prepare in-game audio.
• Ensure marketing and promotion success through consistent collaboration with members of the Athletics Department and Baylor campus, including External Areas (Marketing Strategy, Communications, Bear Foundation and Creative Services), coaching staffs, Student Activities, and others.
• Develop new ideas and processes that will enhance current promotions and fan experiences.
• Assist internal and external partners to execute marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales, event attendance and overall engagement for Baylor athletic programs.
• Assist in executing all community marketing plans, creative collateral, including but not limited to in-game and in-market activations, special events and other miscellaneous items.
• Maintain detailed planning records, track promotion performances, utilize project management tools, recap events, communicate creative, and adjust marketing plans.
• Assist the Director of Strategic Marketing for Basketball and the Director of Fan Engagement with special projects and other departmental priorities.
• Act as a brand ambassador aligning the use of Baylor Brand Guidelines with all external-facing marketing efforts.
• Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and institution rules and regulations and to communicate immediately any possible infractions of such rules and regulations to the Athletics Compliance staff.
• Other program duties as requested by the Director of Athletics or area head.
