The Intercollegiate Athletic Program provides competition in 21 sports (11 for men and 10 for women) and is a member of NCAA Division III and the Ohio Athletic Conference.

Principal Responsibilities
Assistant Basketball coaching duties will be as assigned by head coach and will include administration, coaching, and recruiting for the ONU Women’s Basketball program.
The intramural program will provide a variety of sport-related recreational activities for students, faculty and staff of the University. Those individuals involved in a seasonal varsity sport are not eligible to participate in intramurals while they are “in-season.”
All activities have been selected and scheduled according to the interests and needs of the participants, as well as the ability of the University to provide the necessities for participation. Leagues are open to all campus constituencies. Specific playing times and locations will be determined by the number of teams entered in the sport.
The goal of the intramural program is to provide an opportunity for recreation, socialization, competition, and enjoyment for all involved.
The Co-Director of Intramurals is responsible to:
Manage and coordinate intramural budget as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Submit for approval proposed intramural budget.
Hire Student Intramural Coordinator who supervises the organization and scheduling of facilities, officials, awards, etc. as necessary in order to provide a well-organized and popular intramural program.
Share expectations with intramural staff that inappropriate student behavior is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
Look for ways to add to the student intramural experience.

- Basketball coaching experience
