Position Summary
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Coach of Men’s and Women’s Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field in the Athletics department.
The candidate would be expected to:
assist head coach with preparation for and management of home track and field and cross country meets;
assist student-athletes at practice and in competition with event-specific instruction.

Experience with high caliber (
NCAA
or national) athletes in all of the Olympic throwing competitions.
Sound knowledge of and enthusiasm for the technical aspects of the sport.
Technical proficiency in the throws and multi-events as well as other areas.
Understanding of the throws within the context of a full track and field team.
Computer literate.
A valid driver’s license in your state of residence and have had no serious violations (Type A) within the past five (5) years and no more than three (3) moving violations (Type B) in the past three (3) years. University Policy found here: Monmouth University Vehicle Use Policy .
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of
