Job Summary

Drexel University is seeking a qualified candidate for a Part-time Assistant Men's Soccer Coach Position. This position will assist the Men Soccer program/Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the Men’s Soccer team. The ideal candidate is a former collegiate player who is looking for a career in college coaching and is interested in assisting the coaching staff in all aspects of running a Division I soccer program.

Essential Functions

• Assist the Men's Soccer team during practices and games. Emphasis on goalkeeping or other specialty area.
• Assist with student-athlete development athletically and academically.
• Identify and recruit prospective student-athletes.
• Assist the Head Coach with other duties to ensure the success of the program such as fundraising, operations, and logistics.
• Follow all university, athletic department, NCAA, and CAA rules and policies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Former collegiate soccer player or coach.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, crouch, stoop.
• Ability to stand, walk.

Additional Information

This is a Part-time Temporary/Per Diem/Casual position classified as Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
