● Provide individualized instruction in the areas of time management, organization, note-taking, studying, and test-taking strategies, all within the scope of UGA, SEC, and NCAA rules and regulations, while maintaining a supportive environment.

| Position Summary |
Meet with student-athletes weekly for regularly scheduled sessions in order to help foster academic independence and encourage self-regulated learning.

| Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position |
● Experience working with varied populations in an academic setting such as peer mentoring, tutoring, teaching, etc.
● Candidates with a background in Education, Sports Management, Psychology and/or Sociology will be strongly considered for UGA’s Athletic Academic Mentor program.

● Computer experience in Microsoft Office, G Suite, and database knowledge is also highly recommended.
